I found my love of gardening in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since. When I first began cooking from scratch it was mostly from necessity. After finding success in the garden, I found my kitchen counters were inundated with fresh produce. I found myself scrambling to find ways to use it all! I taught myself to can and preserve in ways I hadn’t before. Then I began to research garden to table recipes. Eventually, like many gardeners, this led to an even deeper love of all things handmade and homegrown. I hope you will be inspired by Garden of Mirth to get back to the basics and find joy in the simple things.
So, whether you’re an experienced home cook or a take out professional I invite you to join me on this traditional skills journey. Let’s learn, grow, and prosper together in our pursuit of a more joyful life.
Welcome to my traditional skills journey – where every day is an opportunity to cultivate joy and reconnect to our roots.
